Our members need to understand exactly where their dues go. Here is a breakdown of how your District 5 dues were allocated during the 2015 budget cycle.

In 2015, $160,806 in dues were collected from the MAATA membership.
Of this amount-
32.3% was allocated to the annual meeting
43.33% were state dues and were transferred back to the states
24.4% was utilized for District 5 programs and operations, including scholarships, grants, committee programs and efforts, web and communications, and board
travel.
If you are a Certified Member, Your Dues Breakdown is:
The NATA utilizes $184 for the advancement of the profession
The District utilizes $15 for programs and operations
The State utilizes $25 in its programs and operations
$20 is allocated to the annual meeting.
If you are a Certified Student Member, Your Dues Breakdown is:
The NATA utilizes $94 for the advancement of the profession
The District utilizes $0 for programs and operations…NADA
The State utilizes $10 in its programs and operations
$10 is allocated to the annual meeting.
